Cedar Street School :

“We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Briana Corr Scott to our Grade 2/3 classroom at Cedar Street School! Her visit was a truly magical experience for the students. Briana’s warmth, creativity, and genuine love for storytelling immediately captured the children’s attention. She spoke about her work as an author and illustrator in a way that was both inspiring and accessible, sparking curiosity and excitement in every young listener. Briana’s visit left our students feeling empowered to express themselves through words and drawings. It was a memorable and enriching experience for all of us at Cedar Street —we can’t thank her enough!”

William Latter School:

“Our students absolutely loved having Briana come and visit. Both of our classes were totally engaged in her presentation, had really good questions to ask, and appreciated learning about Sable Island. I know that the adults who were there equally enjoyed the presentation. It was a very “zen” moment for our groups. The students were super excited to complete the art project that she left for them as well. This week, as we did the art project, the students shared what they had learned with our student teacher. I think we were all amazed at her stories and as Stephanie and I said at the end, we wished it didn’t have to end. It left us wanting to hear more about her travels, her stories, and her projects.”
