Kids Day Activity -Gingko Moth

Step 1: find some ginkgo leaves, and press them in a book. I use wax paper so the book pages don’t get dirty. After a couple days they will be flat and more dry.

Step 3: I used a knife to split the stems of the leaves so that they look like “antenna”

Step 2: I painted the leaves white, so the marker would really show up. This step is up to you! You could also leave them natural for a different kind of look.

Colour the moth with markers; add some gem stickers or bling to make your moth fancy! We glued these to card stock to make a greeting card.
